SUS 20 Years: The Health of Brazil
The Pact in Defense of SUS invites the society to participate in the defense of the developments and achievements in the mobilization to overcome the challenges of the sector. The Management Pact establishes goals and guidelines for the improvement of management, work regulation, health education and promotion of participation and social control. The Pact For Life signs a national agenda of priorities that are in agreement with the Health Councils. A new financing model is adopted based on the fulfillment of the established goals and priorities, which are:

The goal of all Brazilians: Adequate and stable financing for health
The Constitutional Amendment no. 29 establishes the link of the state and municipal income in 12% and 15%, respectively, for financing of the health actions and services. In case of the Union, the amount applied last year is considered by the nominal variation of the GNP. The regulation of EC 29 must guarantee that Brazil has the necessary resources for a quality public health.
